Love Day

As Valentine's day was on Sunday this year we decided to get a sitter and hit the town on Saturday night to celebrate Love Day. We started the evening by doing one of our favorite things...going to Chapters to check out the books, relax and hangout together. We then were off to catch our reservation at Muse in Kensington. While we felt a little out of place at this "fine dinning" establishment, we had a blast eavesdropping on the tables around us, laughing and just spending good time together. We decided to go all out on our meals, which were sooooo good! Jen had the Butternut Squash Soup to start, then the Duck and finished off with the Lamb. I had the soup, then the Wassabi Brazed Tuna and finished with the Beef Tenderloin. Although we were absolutely stuffed we decided to stop on the way home for delicious Gelato. It was a great night and a great date with my sweathart.

Its hard to believe that we have been married almost 9 years and have been together for 12!! Being our twelfth Valentines together I can say with all my heart that with each year my love grows stronger. Through the ups and downs, the joys and struggles we have experienced I feel we have grown and strengthened beyond measure. Sometimes it feels that forever is not long enough to spend with my Jennie!! Her strength as a mother, wife, and all the different roles she plays each day is continually an inspiration to me. I LOVE YOU DUCKY!!
