the rest...

We had a summer full of reunions... this was the last one, the Amen reunion. We had it at my parents place, The Meadows.

These are some of the 'Greats' of my grandparents. It was a jam packed house of kids, dogs and food.... really really good food. I'm sure I've gained a ton of weight this summer, but all of our relatives seem to know how to make some delicious stuff!!
We did some hanging out.. jumping, dirt biking, swimming, inside games, outside games, eating... the usual.

We went to the dam one day and dad was able to snag a jet-ski for the day, so we did a bit of knee boarding, tubing and just cruising in the water.

Cousin Sammy made a couple of pinata's which is always fun... one for the kids...


and one for the bigger kids!
We had the rest of my Grandpa Amen's family come out one afternoon... so decided to celebrate with a huge slip and slide...
The kids love it when Jeff 'helps' them down the slide...





It was a busy weekend, full of fun and food.... thanks family!

Jeff and I also had our 9 yr anniversary! Wow... we watched our old wedding video and laughed at how little we looked. Jeff surprised me with a date on the weekend that he picked planned and found the sitter for all by himself! We did something we had never done before, Jubilation's dinner theater. It was fun, and nice to do something new and different.... no pictures for some reason. I can't believe it has been 9 yrs, it seems like just yesterday we were just stating to date... but 9 yrs, 3 kids, 8 moves, a few jobs, 7 yrs of school, a few fights, a ton of laughs it's been worth it, every minute. Thanks for forever Baby!!
Summer was great... to short but fun!
