way behind...

.... in my blogging, on the weekend of the 13th we went back down to the meadows as my parents were reporting their mission on Sunday. We always love going down and getting away from all the craziness of the city, can you tell I'm a country girl at heart?

Saturday morning started with Griffy going to feed the cows breakfast... he LOVES being a farmer with Uncle Larry. The kids then helped dad and Poppa set up the trampoline, and lots of jumping, which took up the rest of the day.

We had a 'campfire', the kids love roasting the marshmallows, and hot dogs too. The kids love to run and play out there, and can get as dirty as they want... the boys anyway. In fact both feel into the little stream behind the house, which right now is more of a big mud puddle.

Mom and Dad gave great testimonies on Sunday about their experiences. Had a delish family dinner, then headed over to 'the farm'(uncle Larry and aunt Connie's) to play with cousins. As always the kids were so sad to have to come home.

Monday night Jeff had tickets to the hockey game... and as pops hadn't been in awhile the boys had a night out, while the gals... (me and mom) ate pizza and vegged as kids were in bed. Side note Al's pizza is the BEST pizza, we love the spinach and feta... mmmmm.

This was from Monday afternoon... I don't know how it happened he was out side playing and came in later with mud boogies... Lots of them, it took a lot of nose blowing to get it all cleaned out.
