Good Times

The last few weeks have been stressful, exciting, and fun all rolled together. On Monday morning I finished my LAST assignment for my MSW!!! Although, I still have my oral defense to complete, we are super excited to be done school!! It was quite stressful the last couple weeks finishing assignments, and interviewing for jobs, but we are so thrilled to be done!! It has been a long haul. I am so grateful for all the sacrifice and hard work my Jennie has taken on over the last few years...this Masters degree is every bit as much hers. Thanks Ducky...We did it!!! I have also received one job offer so far, so life is good. This week we are just relaxing and spending time together which has been awsome.

On Easter weekend we celebrated Bauer's B-day with family and friends. Bo was so excited, to have his cousins Rachel and Anna, his uncles and aunts Greg, Val, Cam and Christina, his grandma and grandpa, and his best friend Scott Wride over. We had an Easter Egg Hunt up at the park outside our house, and had a Cookie Monster Cake (as requested by Bo). He could hardly contain himself.



Griffin said the funniest thing on Easter as we were talking to the kids about the resurection of Jesus, and what that meant. When we explained that Jesus had come back from the grave and recieved a resurected body, Griffin looked at us and said "you mean all new and digitally enhanced?" Can you tell he watches too many movie previews? Also, that same day after the kids got on their new Easter Sunday outfits, Abbey came down the stairs in her dress and Griff held his hand out to her and said "princess, can I have this dance" where upon Abbey replied "of course" and they had a short dance...it was the cutest thing ever! We have the greatest kids.

It was fun to have Greg, Val, and the kids in town last week as we were able to spend lots of time with family, eating, playing Rock band, and hangin out. As we are done school, and have employment, Jennie and I have been looking more and more into buying a home. It has been fun going to open houses and show homes, and thinking about this new chapter in our life. All in all life is going great...we have really been blessed, and are so greatfull for all we have!
