We bought a tent last year, and never used it... so this year we deiced to try it out. We had never gone camping as a family, and were a bit nervous, but we found an awesome camp ground and would for sure go back!!

We managed to set up the tent and get dinner on the fire with out too much problem, dare I say it was even a success?

 We backed on to the beach and had a park right beside us, the kids were in heaven! Some of us even went in the water that night!

We did hot chocolate while we watched the fire works, yeah they did fire works too!

The night went pretty good, my campfire cooking experience is defiantly lacking and breakfast was pretty bad, thank heavens for mini cereal boxes!

We had a fun morning, and at about 3 a nasty rain and thunder storm moved in. It was so bad! I thought we would have to leave for sure, but we couldn't even leave the tent to pack up! So we played some games and napped and about 3 hrs later it cleared up. We dried everything out checked out the damage finally got a fire going again and splashed in mud puddles.

Yup they have go carts too!

End of August we drove out to Vernon BC, we stopped and saw a few sites...

 We saw the kangaroo farm, so Cute!! We hit up the science center there, chilled with the family (Lee's) and ate fresh corn to our hearts content.

 We did the beach, it was so nice and hot! Seriously considering a move out there!

 Can you imagine having this place right in the middle of your city?!

 Bauer LOVED the whole idea of the wedding! Dressing up fancy, drinking fancy drinks, watching the pretty lady get married...

 She was pretty gorgeous!

 It was a super fun trip. I would love to go back again... and it was kinda fun hanging out with these guys too!
