We headed down south for the long weekend. We love getting away from the city any chance we get, and the weather was pretty good. The kids went straight out to be 'adventure kids'. The went to dig in the sand box and found some 'dinosaur/cow' bones.... Cooooool...

The spent every minuet the could outside, they love playing in the creek out back, the boys even went for a swim or 2... fully dressed of course.

Saturday, Jeff and I got to leave the kids to play, and we went in to Cardston to go to the Temple. We ended up getting there very early so had the chance to sit in the chapel and get in the right spirit and mood... we are usually in such a hurry to get in, it was nice to take our time.
When we got back we played more, and had hot dogs and marshmallows for dinner.... 'cause what is a trip to the Meadows without having a fire. Jeff found some HUGE marshmallows, so we brought those down too... you only need 1.... ok 2.

All the kids love jumping on the trampoline... the biggest one most of all.

My mom made superhero capes for the boys... but my boys used them to be wrestlers.... a Mexican Wrestler.... one with Eagle powers..... NACHOOOOOO

I love that we go and just hangout... no pressure, no stress, just fun!!

Monday we went down to the River bottom with some cousins for another fire. Let me say, no one knows food like Gibbs know food... or maybe it is just there is always so much of it... I ate way to much.

Notice the band-aid on Bo's head.... he went head first into the creek, landed on a rock, and gave himself a wee bit of a concussion... he is ok... just being the wild boy he is.

All the cousins and Jeff went for a big climb.... I watched with the other moms.... someone needed to take pictures...

You can't really see them but at the very very top you can see some little bumps... those are the kids...
After that we packed up to head home, while there is no place like home, we are always sad to leave. On a happy note we stopped off in Glenwood..... The ice cream shop is open again, so we had to get a cone, or 5. We are excited for many more weekends of fun in the sun!!
