A Whitehead Christmas

It is hard to believe Christmas has come and gone already!! We had a wonderful time hanging out here in Calgary with Family, however, it was very strange without Ma and Pa who are in the Phillipines, we sure miss them! Christmas eve we went to mom and dad Whitehead's house for dinner and then went to the Heritage Park Nativity Pagent. It was freezing, but going to the Nativity is always a great experience.

The kids loved the animals, Bo couldn't stop asking to see the "conckey" (Donkey) after we left. When we got back the kids opened their new Christmas PJ's, set out their stalkings, a snack for Santa, and were off to bed. Jana, Jay, us and mom and dad, however stayed up to play games and stuff our faces with baking. It is always entertaining when Jana and Jay are involved in anything.

We were very happy to experience our own Christmas miricle in that the kids all slept through the night and didn't get up until 7:00!! As usual we were all spoiled by Santa and eachother.

Greg, Val, Rachel, Anna, Cam and Christina came to mom and dad's Christmas morning. We spent the day just hanging out, relaxing and playing with our new toys etc. , Which was followed by Christmas dinner. Cam and Christina brought a Ginger Bread House that they worked on with the kids in the evening, the kids loved making it, but I think they enjoyed eating it much more. It was a great Christmas indeed!!
